Famly at Gingerbread Nurseries and Playgroup
At Gingerbread Nurseries and Playgroup, we use an advanced nursery software called Famly to record your child’s development and securely store all necessary information. Each room is equipped with multiple tablets for staff to document activities and observations. In our Baby and Toddler rooms, we also log sleep times, meals, and nappy changes. For Pre-School children, we encourage direct conversations about their day.
Invoices can be viewed via the app in the booking section, and helpful videos on their website will guide you in using Famly effectively. This software supports our goal of becoming a nearly paperless nursery, reflecting our eco-friendly values.

AT GINGERBREAD NURSERIES AND PLAYGROUP
At Gingerbread Nurseries and Playgroup, building strong relationships with our families is of utmost importance. We host a variety of events each year, both within our nursery and in the local community, to foster strong bonds with our parents. These events provide opportunities for families to observe their children in the nursery environment and to engage with other families in our community. Key Person
Your child will be dedicated a key person who will speak to you on a regular basis and build a relationship with not just the little one but the families.
We also have plenty of opportunities for parents to come in, communicate with each other and see the children in the setting throughout the year. We hold coffee mornings, parents evenings, mothers/fathers weeks, picnic in the park, annual days out.
